I gave a Student a B because after several times of explaining how important it is to submit work on time the Student still continued to submit it late. I deducted 10 points from the final grade. The Student was upset and said so you just decided to give me a B and ruin my 4.0 average. The student is angry and thinks its my fault. How do you handle something like that?

I really believe in the concept of encourging the students to take a more active role in their job seach. I explain to my extern students that our program wil give them the knowledge and techincal skills they need to do the job, however we cannot give them a job. I encourage them to treat their externship as a job and be the best employee their clinical site has ever seen and always try to go above and beyond. New to Teaching

I have only been teaching for a short time just a few months. My first day in class I was very nervous and did not know what to expect. I wish I would have taken this course prior to that first day because I think I would have been better prepared. I feel that I gained very valueble knowledge through this course.
