I have learned about the techniques for skilled questions. I intend to use the talk less, listen more technique.

Learned about closed and open-ended questions and the benefits of asking more open-ended questions. I intend to use open ended questions and the six universal questions, limiting "why" as much as I can.

Building a relationship during the interview is important and making sure that relationship continues on till they graduate is key.

I learned how to address structure and how to move forward. I intend to use the steps they have provided in this module on how to move forward.

I learned about the different ways to prepare for an interview. The value presentation framework is very helpful to prepare oneself. I intend to use the framework worksheet in order to prepare myself.

Learned about the reasons of importance of value and how we as admissions advisors should apply it to our students. I intend to create my own value proposition on how the school would be a good fit for the student.

I have learned about the relationship cycle and how you can apply it to your students. I intend to apply all the materials i have learned in this course onto my mission.

I have learned about the different steps of effective communication. I intend to use mirroring when talking to my students.

Listening is the most important part of a communication process. It is very important to show your students that you are listening. I have learned about the 3 levels and principles of active listening. I intend to make sure my student knows that my focus will always be on them.

I have learned about the 5 principles of communication which is to listen effectively, respond appropriately, read body language, ask questions to clarify, and seek common ground. I have also learned how to read the body language. I intend to ask questions to clarify.
