See the closed captioning on TV's as a universal design component was new information to me that makes complete sense as a service for anyone with a disability that would benefit from its availability. 

I was not aware how many different dissabilities are impacting our students so its important to keep learing and training to increase awareness.  

Every effort needs to be made to accodate students with a dissability even if it is not a visual dissability. 

many of the incidents happen on the weekends.

If the offense takes place off campus and it was part of campus related program or activity then the campus must begin looking into the report of misconduct.

learing of a potential sexual assault via social media is enough to require a responsible employee to report the incident. 

Title IX yearly training helps to reinforce what we all should be aware of but serves as a great refresher so all students are protected. 

Students participating in distance learning cannot be announimus when posting on discussion boards for courses.

Students can dispute somthing on their record eventhough it may not be changed but a notation will be added to thier record with their comments.

When in doubt alway and I mean always check the FERPA regs to make sure you are following the correct action taken.
