I like the suggestion of having the student write out their complaint, that way there is no misunderstanding of the issue at hand and you and the student can work together to find solutions if the complaint is legitimate.  The of documentation of a disruptive student that may to potentially asked to leave the class is a good reminder you do not want a he said/she said situation

Inattentive students can be disruptive to the whole class,  I like the idea of the seating chart where instead of allowing them to be in the back they are front and center, also the strategies discussed regarding accountability are very helpful

It is important to set clear expectations of the class and deadlines and what will be acceptable in the syllabus

The Teaching plan should incorporate various styles of delivery.  I need to periodically video myself to pick up on any negative actions that could affect the learning process for the student.

It is important to take time to introduce yourself and allow your students to introduce themselves, take time to review the syllabus, class rules up front

A lot of ideas come to mind, the list of what what is needed in the classroom for that particular class, reviewing the objectives to ensure the content correlates and having a notepad available to enable me to remember any issues a student may bring to me or phone call to  clarify or notes just to follow up on lecture questions

It is important that I model the attributes that I want my students to exhibit.  Always being respectful, compassionate while making sure my teaching is credible and clear.

Technology has really enhanced learning for nursing students.  Students are now able to work through case-based scenarios of patient care and learn clinical judgement skills in the process. From using videos to simulation mannequins the level of skills needed prior to actually performing the skill on an actual patient has increased the quality of care and safety of care given

Curriculum planning and mapping helps to ensure you will meet the objectives and standards for the course with the ability to adjust and change as needed to best fit the needs of the students

Very interesting regarding curriculum mapping and setting up the learning according to the learners abilities and needs while at the same time using tools to help with the interaction and assessing the learning of the student. I find that the information on the rubrics to be very valuable as it is a method that I am using, the information helped to clarify some questions I had.
