Using technology allows us to view tasks that would normally have to be hands on taking up time and space.  it allows for remote teaching with guidance. This is allowing me to help a student who has had to work full time for his family.  He is able to finish the class remotely.

Engaging early will help get students attention.  

I think CTE-Specific Teacher Evaluation Process is the best evaluator for CTE.  it is simple and encourages CTE instructors to keep in mind the students culture and abilities.

I have learned there is a variety of measures of gauging teacher performance.  Choosing the standards can be difficult and one needs to take thought in what each systems needs are.

Not asking for help from other instructors is a common mistake.  They all have been where a new instructors are and can at least advise on approach and technique.

Maintaining personal responsibility for learning is key to growth of a student.   

the one thing I have learned is there are multiple ways of gauging a teachers abilities.  

I have learned promoting critical thinking is good to a point.  I think once a solution is reached then action needs to take place.  over thinking is contrary to production.

i am already using technology.in my classroom.  using ICEV, ALLDATA, SHOPKEY, IDENTIFIX and GOOGLE CLASS ROOM,  I engage with my class their assignments and repair information.

I try to implement teamwork every day.  My students share responsibilities in tasks that are assigned.
