By the nature of online learning, miscommunication can occur. To minimize misunderstandings, it is important for the instructor to inidividualize thier mode of communication to each students and understand the perspectives of various age groups.

It is importance for the instructor to establish a code of conduct for communication on an online course. I like the strategies of setting expectations through a communication rubric and outline the consequences of the code of conduct is broken.

Before choosing technology tools to utilize in an online course, you need to evaluate your options and assure that the tools align with the learning outcomes and communication goals.

Many factors such be considered when moving from a face to face learning environment to an online learning environment. Remember to keep consistency in organization, give effective communication, and deliver strategy instructional methods. By facilitating an online course in this manner, students will more likely be engaged and achieve learning outcomes.

As facilitators of learning, we need to effectively communicate with students and provide indepth and personalized feedback to encourage active participation and engagement from students.

Consistency in course organization and expectations is key to students efficiently utilizing online course material and achieving learning objectives. Also, knowing which communication method is most effective will lead to high achievement from online learners.

There are various educational technolgies that can assist instructors in faciliatating learning and assist students in attaining learning objectives. Since there are many choices of techology tools to use, it is essential for instructors to assess the tools before implementing the tools in online learning.

Gathering data from multiple evaluations is more effective in capturing the needed revisions for an online course. Gathering data from one source or one evaulation will not adequately provide sufficient data needed to make appropriate revisions for an online course.

Providing feedback connected to objectives, is specific, and individualized guides students to enhanced learning skills. Rubrics are also necessary for fair grading practices and allows students to see what is expected of them.

Developing a dynamic syllabus for students is essential for the success of online learning. Scaffolding is also key to encouraging student success as they build on their prior knowledge.
