I have learned that students will encounter frustrations and it is my role as the professor to not get involved in the complaint, but to encourage and help come up with an action plan

Don't have a cold start to the class.  Also incorporate a variety of learning methods.  Ones ability to pay attention is limited.

It is important to introduce yourself to the class and give a brief description of your expertise so you can establish credibility with your students.

It is important to prepare and plan in advance for classes.  also, having a checklist so that you can ensure you have covered all of the information with the students.  The syllabus is a detailed contract between the instructor and the student.

This module reinforced the concept of modeling, managing, and being a motivator are  critical components for every teacher and should be applied by modeling professionalism within the classroom.  I will continue to implement these principles within my classes.
