It is encouraging to read and listen to strategies to help us teachers hold students accountable. I appreciate learning these helpful strategies.

It is important to set your expectations for the class early/day 1. I think the quicker you can relate to your students to develop a good rapport, the quicker they will begin to respond accordingly to your expectations, which then naturally increases their engagement. 

Learning about different strategies to incorporate all the different learning styles with in a single class period was really helpful for me. I also enjoyed considering the idea to team up with a different class/content area in order for students to work together on a project.
