Take care in preparing for each class session to allow for different methods of presenting information.

Establishing credibility by sharing your experience as well as taking the time to learn names and correct pronunciations.  

Know the objectives of the course and keep them in mind when preparing for each session.  I also post an agenda in the classroom before each class session.  It helps me to stay on track and the students can see at a glance what is being covered that day.

Enthusiasm is essential  If we are not excited about our topic, how can we expect our students to be?
