It is important to learn a variety of teaching styles in order to cater to all students in the course.

I learned that it is important to not only meet institutional accreditation standards, but also work to make sure my students' knowledge is applicable to the real world.
From this course, I learned things that will be helpful to my development as a teacher. I learned never to overestimate my abilities, have a clear plan for professional development, and to depend on fellow instructors if needed.

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
