I believe the most important point to remember from this module is remembering the multitude of platforms that students will be utilizing to access the course. As I create the course, I need to ensure that whether the student is accessing the content on a computer, tablet, or cell phone the content must be easily navigated and pleasing to the user. 

To understand the different learning styles will be instrumental in creating a course that encourages every student in learning how to learn for oneself. I believe this is the key to providing the dynamic course students are looking for in an online program. 

My biggst take-away came from the Increasing Learner Autonomy. I like the "learning how to learn for oneself" concept. It will be highly benneficial to my students as they move from theory to practical application.  

This course was very essential in understanding the ISD model and how the four phases phases are a continous loop to ensure students are getting the information they need to meet the objectives of the course. 

I learned quite a lot on content, assignments, and lectures while reading the 5 appendixes. They are great resources as I move forward with building the online courses. 

It was interesting to see that even without a F2F classroom, a distance learning platform can provide the student with the same experience. All with the added bonus of completing the course from home. 

Simplicity seems to be the key to success. The content and organization of the course seems to only as good as the student's experience navigating it. This makes simplicity a must have.

I found the four Os of course design very intewresting. It gives a pretty good blueprint to ensure the required consistency is achieved while in the course development stage. 

Even after the course is completed and imlemented, is remains highly important to keep reviewing it for content from a holistic lense. It is the only way to ensure we are facilitating the students' learning environment as well as the teaching environment.

My understanding through the accreditation board was my institution had to use a synchronous format for our online course. I am seeing through this course, that is not necessary. I just have to be creative with how I accurately count time on tatget, for our course in computed by clock hours.
