What I have learned from this course is that each student has different abilities and can experience challenges, our teaching should be something easily adaptable to when a student faces a personal challenge. Offering different teaching styles and resources is key in a veteran's success in the class.

EI has a significant influence on success in education. Learning is not always linear and can vary with each instructional method and the receptor of the information. EI can lead to student success if the instructor has strong EI.

Intelligence is ongoing and can be developed. Having mastered multiple levels of intelligence models, makes the instructor the best possible for the students to learn.

Emotions have a significant effect on learning processes. The more in tune they are with their own emotions, the emotions of other around them, and the ability to manage their emotions can promote success in the classroom.

How emotional intelligence serves in learning, one's attention, and their ability to process information. It is important to regulate and understand our emotional processes to be able to better serve the classroom.

Reviewing and understand the person affected by TBI or PTSD as an individual rather than defined by their disability is a way to encourage and support the student in a positive way

Accomodating student learning with disorders like PTSD or TBI is essential in their success and our success as instructors.

I have learned how to identify warning signs and accomodate for students diagnosed with PTSD.

PTSD was classified as several disorders in prior times. I learned to accomodate and work with, and understand students who come into class who may have PTSD and how to work with them.

EQ is essential in development of a high quality instructor
