I learned it is important to let the students know you are in control and your presence is important. They have to feel secure that you are knowledgeable and that you can assist them when they need guidence.

I have learned that the students feel more secure when they know someone(instructor) is there when they need help. I have also learned that we should know what the students see when they log on which has been something I am struggling with during my time online with them.
