The one thing that stands out to me is the different types of online learners that disrupt the classroom. You think about and are prepared in a traditional classroom but the online environment brings another set of challenges. I think it is essential to make sure you address those issues immediately and by school policy. 

Important for students to be able to "get to know you". They need to know your credentials as well as some personal qualities that help you be more relatable and respected as an instructor. This is also models sharing behaviors as well as creates a more safe and comfortable learning environment 

It is very important to make sure students feel supported and connected in an online environment. Therefore I will make sure to respond as soon as possible to questions and concerns. Additionally, make sure I am communicating effectively so that students understand assignments, deadlines, meetings, and other requirements.
