Good tools to know as a teacher. I will work on lesson plans that have excitment as the students enter my classroom this year.

I learned that the Hot line can be posted in my classroom and that we need a line of command when we learn about a student at risk.

Has anyone had to use this in there classroom or has anyone lost a student and had to deal with the grief that caused.

SPTS is a good to connect with. I think being proactive is key to a good interaction with students. 

A safety plan sounds like a great project that each of my classes should fill out. I know that for me it's important to know my students. I'm going to work on that more this year. 

We need each other when we suspect that a stuend is at risk we need to find a community we can talk to. 

I would not be able to continue if I thinght I could have stoped s student from suicide

Original thinkers.  What a great thought. I liked the video of the man who spoke of teaching original thinkers. 

assessment is key to a good starting in our classrooms. I think Covid has made it a little harder to teach and assessment will help us find good ways to connect.

I have some good opportunities when it comes to internships where i work. i'm going to look into them this yeer
