Get Your Students Hired
I have to agree on getting graded material back as quickly as possible. At this point where I am we have 24-48 hours to return most graded work to students. I find that if I give them their tests back quickly they are able to move on to the next chapter without distraction. Right now we are not able to return tests until the next day because there are a few instructors that can't or won't return tests the same day and in order for there to be less student complaints the administration states we can't give them back until the next day. I see it from both sides. Some instructors can't feasably return tests quickly related to schedule issues, but I can but am not allowed. It can be very frustrating because it's hard to get the class to move forward when they are worried about the last chapter exams.
