Learning

When teaching a course in Leadership Development, I discovered that students work well together by allowing them to be in charge of a specific project delegating within themselves what part each student will perform.

I agree. Empowering the students will help in building their communication and interpersonal skills.

I agree too. The more responsibility you can shift to the students, the more they are likely to learn about not only the subject matter, but about themselves!

I generally ask for leaders in Groups and there always seems to be students that stand out and grab leading by the horns. But there are some students that try to sit back and watch everyone else work. This works well depending on what type of learning style each student prefers. Some want to be right in the middle of things getting down and dirty while others would rather watch whats going on before they attemp to master the skill set. A good mix in the group is absolutely necessary for success.

Good points Eddie! I couldn't agree more.

Keep up the good work!

Hello I agree with all of you about working and learning as a group especially when there always one who feel they have to lead or run it there has to be uniformity with all that is involved. thank you cynthia
