Just a statement is going to be added. When I teach a general physical exam to a medical assistant, I use the students life experiences to crystallize the event into memory!

Just as a question, what do you mean by connecting a general Physical exam to life experiences of the student? I can see this if you ask did you ever fracture a bone? If you have not then you will find this interesting.....the outer layer of a bone is called the periosteum and is highly intervated by nerve endings. This is why it hurts so much but the pain comes from this tissue and not so much from the bone itself." If this sort of thing is what you mean then I fully agree. It makes the light come home but if it is not what you mean, then I am not sure I understand or agree?
