Stress Relievers
Based upon what I have learned from this module, I intend on giving stretching a try. I have never really stretched besides before and after exercise. I am hopeful this will help, as long as I don't pull something and that will really stress me out.
Kind Regards,
Lee
Stretching is a great idea. I also find that another great stress release is to play with my dogs. Just petting them is sometimes therapy in and of itself.
Yes, pets are a wonderful way to reduce stress - even just petting them. And of course they really enjoy that kind of helping too!
I enjoy taking a ride in my car listening to my favorite music with no particular destination...
Yes, sometimes riding in the car playing music is fun. It's nice to hear that you have time to ride around with no destination in mind, but for those who do, this technique can be a great stress reliever on long commutes.
Ido beleave that takeing a walk every afternoon will help destress you i will now try doing that after work every day ,sence i have taken this course .
Excellent plan Michael. Even if you can only find the time to walk a few times a week, it can really make a dramatic difference on how you feel.
When I get home from work, I have two Persians who great me, Romeo and Juliet. Just having my legs rubbed by them when I first get in the door is very soothing and my stress of the day seems to disappear
Very nice Gordon. Animals are great companions and living with them really can reduce stress.
Frequent massage, stretching and yoga are great ways to eliminate stress in our daily lives. Hot bubble baths help too!
