Dealing With Challenging Students
I enjoyed this particular portion of the course. It gave some very helpful tips on dealing with the array of students that are in any given class.
Challenging students drive me nuts!!! I must admit it is the one part of teaching that is not my favorite, however I have found that sometimes it is necessary to use other resources to help with your students, for example, I have a student who can not seem to understand the difference between a muscle and an action. So I help him with tutoring but I also have him go to the LRC for Tutoring because I know that I cannot be the only one helping out. Sometimes even other motivated students can be a big help to the chanllenging ones!!!

Someone should be able to reach these type students. They are a handful. Thank you for finding additional help for these type students.

Yes. This part of the course was very helpful. I plan on utilizing some of the methods to handle difficult student situations and will post the results. I unfortunately have quite a few difficult students in each of the categories.
