Importance of this class
Many individuals that I have worked with over the years have tried to rely on technical skills to instruct a class. I have seen many of them have issues with classes or some individuals in the class. It is very important to be able to understand soft skills and how they can effect a course. Before taking this course I kind of new what soft skills were but not to the extent I do now.

Understanding how EQ and IQ coorelate are very important tools to understand in the classroom. This course did a good job of comparing and contrasting the two.
You can be the smartest person in the world but if you can't realay that to someone what good does that information do

True, keep in mind too that communication is a two way street. We can communicate to the ends of the earth but others need to want to receive communication as well.

Arthur, I would agree. Until I took this course I would hear the term "soft skills" but never really knew what that meant or undetstood how to apply them. I have mastered the technical skills yet I feel that now I actually have a tool that will help me in the class room become really successful with my students. This is the edge that I was missing by not developing it more.
