  • The importance of learning the different learning styles of the students and teaching them to how to do the same for their classmates.
  • Understanding how to give feedback (positive or negative) and the way to frame it so that it is constructive.
  • How to build interpersonal skills of the students through presentations.

Teamwork is a critical element in the business world; students should be given opportunities to work on team projects.

Differentiation is important in a classroom setting. Many students are successful when I meet them where they're at and acknowledge their abilities and needs.

I think working in teams is very challenging in the classroom, and really requires some modeling for the students to observe first how to solve problems and hold eachother accountable.  "Telling" students each of their roles doesn't teach them the necessity of figuring this out now because you'll use it at work too!
