Dyscalculia
How or what would be the best possible way of contributing to a student's success when encountering dyscalculia? Also, what could be offered to help students outside the classroom better understand what they learned in class?
Shawannna,
It really depends on the student's functional limitations as well as what his/her learning style is. Depending on the program of study, required curriculum and program accreditation, maybe a course substitution would be reasonable. As for your second question-TUTORING! :)
Sarah Smoger
YES! I fully agree with the tutoring comment. I have found that a small group settings where the student help teach other works very well.
