I agree that blended learning can be very effective. Combining lecture, board time, and selected tech tools to address different learning styles keeps students involved and interested.
I fully agree. I think it is important for students to have a taste of the traditional ways and the more high-tech tools of teaching. That way they can become adept at more than one way of learning.
I lecture through powerpoint and interact with students by asking multiple questions and have them take good notes as we go. With blening techniques it allows student to look at the materials in different ways. This is a good idea since all students learn differently.
Using just one learning technique can be monotonous, and students don't get engaged enough. Using blended learning techniques would cater to the learning styles of different students.
