Teachers can guide the use of ChatGPT in education by establishing clear and specific guidelines. First, define the educational purpose of using ChatGPT, such as research or clarifying concepts, and communicate it to the students. Encourage the use of ChatGPT to generate ideas and foster critical thinking, avoiding the direct copying of answers. Integrate ChatGPT into activities that require personal reflection and analysis to promote originality. Supervise and review work generated with ChatGPT to ensure quality and academic integrity. Finally, educate students on the ethics and responsible use of artificial intelligence, always promoting original authorship and academic integrity.

From learning about the impact of ChatGPT on students, I have gained insights into how this AI tool can significantly enhance the educational experience by providing personalized support, fostering engagement, and promoting critical thinking. ChatGPT can act as an accessible resource for students, offering instant feedback, answering questions, and providing explanations tailored to their individual learning needs. This has the potential to make learning more interactive and responsive, helping students to better understand complex concepts and stay motivated.

I intend to apply this knowledge by integrating ChatGPT into my teaching practices to support and complement traditional instructional methods. Specifically, I will use ChatGPT to create personalized learning activities that cater to the diverse needs of my students. For example, I can design interactive assignments where students use ChatGPT to research topics, ask questions, and receive immediate feedback. Additionally, I will encourage students to engage in critical discussions about the information provided by ChatGPT, teaching them to evaluate sources and think analytically. By leveraging ChatGPT in these ways, I aim to create a more dynamic and supportive learning environment that enhances student outcomes and fosters a deeper engagement with the material.

Teachers need to understand AI as much if not more than students.

Students need to understand the limitations of ChatGPT

I will implement a strategy that encourages students to use ChatGPT as a brainstorming and research tool, guiding them to ask thoughtful questions and analyze responses critically. This approach will promote deeper engagement, enhance learning outcomes, and strengthen their critical thinking skills.

El ChaptGPT es una gran herramienta para la personalizacion, para la autoevaluacion y ahorro de tiempo

Chat GPT can help me develop review questions, help me foster critical thinking with patient scenarios, have students write a Reflective learning journal after each class day.

The younger generation is using this technology so we need to incorporate it into classroom activities and assignments and provide discussion about how to use this in a positive way not one that will cause reduction in their grades.

This technology can enhance students' understanding of certain concepts. However, critical thinking must be applied when using it.

I have learned how to use Chatgpt to help my students navigate the information that they collect when taking notes and narrow it into a more simple document for them to understand the information without getting overwhelmed.

My college is using a form of Turn-it-in to check for chatGPT plagiarism. The problem we have encountered is that various plagiarism checkers grade the same paper very differently. I think chatGPT is a great resource for students but they will have to be very careful about plagiarism and be prepared to verbally back up the information in their papers to support that they really did research the topic and know about the topic.
