Ball toss
we have used the ball toss game in many classes but for review of material... I also like the idea of doing the term and definition match...almost like a bigger version of Go Fish except classroom size.

You are right about healthcare workers having a twisted sense of humor. It lightens things up for those of us working in a high stress environment. In the ball toss, I like the idea that the participants sit down after their turn, thereby including everyone in class, even those who tend to be quiet.
Mary, an instructors job is to be fair, consistent, and balanced in class participant ion. This activity lets all see who hasn't had a turn and who has.

I have found that students like this game. They get caught up at having fun, they forget they're learning. The information sticks too.
