Crosswords and Word search
I already utilize these types of word puzzles in many of my classes... the students love it. I have also started doing a word of the day and question of the week... for the entire school to participate in.

That is a great idea to do the word search school wide.
That is a great idea to have the question of the day for the entire school. I could have the terminology class collaborate to create the questions, and have them take turns posting the question on the community bulletin board. Additionally, when the answer is revealed, I could have my students elaborate on the condition by adding short reports to the board.

This will be my first time teaching Medical terminology, but when teaching Kinesiology I use crossword puzzles quite often. I'm always surprised with how much students really enjoy them!
