Continuous Improvement

I love the ideas presented in this module, however, I have yet to work for an institution that allows faculty time and compensation (both) for continuous review of a course. Some allow time, and expect continuous review to be part of the Faculty members activities, but does not compensate for this work. Has anyone ever experienced any different?

In my experience, I have been content with the content but I have made changes because of the development of more efficient communication and teaching tools.

Jelitza,

Thanks for sharing your experience. It is through our own and other's experiences that we learn so much.

Sean,

Yes, my institutions provides assistance and time and/or compensation for reviews and actually encourages this type of review. Not every single review may be compensated, but if the course does not meet the quality guidelines, it will not be taught; therefore, no class - no compensation as the course will not be offered.
