Two of the most important considerations is setting a good example and providing detailed feedback to move the student toward the desired communication pattern.

As you are setting that good example, you are being a good role model for students and also showing them what "professionalism" looks like. Continue to be that good role model. Nice job.

I believe that communication should be clear, timely and encouraging. Expectations should be posted in various online platforms to endure the student understands what to strive for and how to achieve curriculum goals. When communicating our tone should be encouraging and facilitate trust, respect and excitement.
