The end of school networks and systems like MaxKnowledge is coming. New programs should embrace already large social networks. Rather than make their own lounge and such it should be using something like facebook as its lounge.

I believe that embracing social media is the correct approach, however, I am not certain that it will be the best medium as it is completely unrestricted. Thank you.

You will have to determine your comfort level. You may start with your students following different people in blogging. Have them look at different views of one subject. That can be a great discussion starter.
