1-2-3 List
I thought the 1-2-3 list would be very beneficial for intermediate type classes, as they explained in the Web Design class example. It helps provide feedback to the instructor and gives understanding to the different levels of understanding among students. Does anyone have any other tips on fun exercises to get students involved in their own learning?

For a web design course, make students evaluate a web site and do a voice over screen capture. Have them talk through a web site and critique it as they test it invoking specific rules, procedures, or technical standards. Example, have them walk through a web site and point out universal design elements or the lack of.

If you have any screen capture software, that will work. I have used Tegrity, a tool provided by the university. As for free, try Jing.

Most computers have Quick Time as part of the OS, you can do a screen capture record, and voice record. Great idea!
