If you are talking about presentations in the classroom, it is also very important to have a clear and understood policy regarding "distractions" such as cell phones and other devices being out of sight during presentations, whether by the instructor, outside speakers or other students.
I like this additional information in regards to cell phones. It can be very distracting as the instructor and surely as another student!
