good and bad stress

As we all know, there are good and bad stressors. In life, we must learn that we need stress as a catalyst to improve. Stress isn't always negative. If I achieve the goals set forth for me at work, then idea of not achieving the goals are considered a stressor; a stressor that keeps my bills paid none the less. Just as many of our students would like to earn an A, it takes work to do so. Therefore receiving a bad grade is a stressor to achieve the A which they want.

Stress helps us learn somtimes if you can reconize it in a positive way

Good stress is something that keeps you wanting to do and be better. I have encountered both at my last employer. I was so stressed out over not having a healthy balance between home and work. I worked 120 hours a pay period and my children were growing up so fast. I started to feel defeated. I was even stressed out on my vacation thinking about work. I released everything I could not control and threw the towel in!
