Applying experiences
I find that by allowing students to bring their experiences into a class, they enjoy the entire course and gain more value from it.
Furthermore, I will try to implement my experiences in law enforcement, and bring topics from legal, and police work to the forefront. I will use discussion board topics and our chapter summaries to go in depth in our discussions throughout the term.

I encourage students to relate life experiences to the classroom. Many students seem excited to discuss topics of importance to them and relate to class discussions - sometimes they relate too much information (TMI)
