Is it appropriate to have the corporate offices also serving as the Trustees and as such the final arbiters of all decisions?
Charles,
I would not advocate this for two reasons; first you want to maintain the autonomy of your Trustees in their role as a "governing body; and second, having the corporate officers as "voting member Trustees" could potentially create a conflict of interest, depending on the issue(s); however, they could serve in an ex officio or non-voting capacity.
