Adriana ,
Organizational charts bring us the mapping of our school staff and departments. It's a great addition.

Gabriela,
Marketing materials are an important part of your resource notebook. They are the initial contact with the prospective student and it's important for us to see what has brought them to us.

Destiny ,
Agents really are not that common. Most schools operate with staff they operate at the school's location.
Patty Aronoff
Chris,
Excellent! Keep on adding additional materials and remove those that don't work for you. It is meant to be a living resource.

Paul,
The statutes are the laws in Florida. The rules explain the statute. The school regulations explain the schools policies and procedures.

The book is only as good as the information that is inside it. If the book is not current then they can provide you the wrong information. That is not its purpose.
Patty Aronoff

I believe it should reside with you so that it is available when you need it. Many people will not get up and go get something but will use it if it's right within arms reach.
Patty Aronoff
Louann,

The resource notebook is crucial for any admission representative, is a great source of knowledge and information.
Hello, I have been using a resource notebook since the start of my career. I've learned that it should updated because the information may have changed.
I think it is extremely important to stay up to date on your resource notebook. Rules and regulations are always changing, so knowing about these changes are important
I agree I am just beginning the training myself and have already come across very useful information.
I've placed rules and regulations into my Resource Notebook. I did not realize that there is a difference between state regulations and school regulations.
The Resource Notebook needs to be kept up to date, therefore, shouldn't it reside on the institution Admissions office? Or should each Rep has his/her own? I am trying to see if a common effort to keep the catalog updated by everyone and for everyone a good idea.
