Im wondering if Course syllabuses should be included in the notebook? I have note books for each course we offer and a resource notebook, I usually keep the syllabuses with the cooresponding class notebook but should I also have it in the resource notebook?
The notebook contains valuable information that helps to find important information quickly. In my resource notebook I have information about the institution including vision and mission statement, institution policies and procedures, the institution catalog, admission requirements, and accreditation information.
My resource notebook contains the 2012 Academic Catalog, Enrollment Agreement, terms and definitions, and the Chapter 6 E, Florida Administrative Code Commission Rules
Enrollment Agreement: a legally binding contract signed by the applicant and an authorized personnel at the institution. This contract forms the agreement to terms of the enrollment and provides disclosures which inform consumers of important policies of the institution, which their signature indicates acknowledgement of.
We are a start-up and I am very new to this. Not sure I would have a good answer for this question. I will need some time to research and develop these to date we are not yet enrolling students. I could use any valuable information you might share.
I am in the process of recertification. I think the notebook should have as much information from the catalog, any addedums, tuition, policies, student handbook, etc. This is not only a resource to ensure that you have the most accurate anws for your students, but this is a guide for them as well! Its important to have as much knowledge pertaining to the students, policies and rules ,etc as possible.
Enrollment - When student has completed the enrollment process.
Interview - When the prospect comes in and is evaluated to ensure that the institution is a good fit for him/her.
