Donna,

I'm very agree with you in all what you just mentioned. Its always very important and needed to be aware and understand very well the rules and regulations in this role in order to do a great job. It's also very important to have a lot of communitaion with all your collegues from work even they are not working in your same filed that way we can be always up date with any new knews.

A resource notebook is an excellent idea. Having definitions, the CIE regulations, marketing materials, and information about different programs all in one place is very helpful. Renewing the Admissions Compliance certification is an excellent time/reminder to make sure all marketing material, etc. in the notebook is up-to-date with the most current information.

Terms and definitions commonly used during the admission process are Enrollment Agreement, Program, Accreditation...

I read through the forum at the different posts and it has given me alot of insight and ideas on what would benefit me to have in the notebook. I printed out more information to put in there to always have on hand.

We have a Director of Recruitment (DOR)and Enrollment representatives that meet with all prospective students. Our Marketing includes television commercials, newspaper, signs outside the building and brochures at the school. We use financial aid representatives that meet with prospective students also.
I gained a better understanding about how the enrollment agreement and catalog work together to be sure the school does not misrepresent themselves in any way.

I have included a copy of the student enrollment agreement, Terms and Definitions, Commission for Independent Education Rules and regulations copy of Section 1005.31. I will definately be adding more when I get back to work tomorrow as I go through the training. I discovered how important it is to be aware of and understand the rules and regulations in this role. This knowledge will allow me to remain compliant.

Matgorzata,

Continue to add additional documents that reference the work you do in admissions. Suggestions may include organizational chart, frequently asked questions, and any forms that you use in admissions.

alessandra,

The enrollment agreement and the catalog constitute the contract between the student and the school. In fact, when the student signs the enrollment agreement, they are stating they have read and received a copy of the catalog.

Make sure to add all the state regulations. You should have the statutes and you should have the rules that explain those statutes.

They're also signing on the enrollment agreement that they have received and read a copy of the most current catalog.
