What are the ways you are learning the various Florida Statutes and Rules and Regulations that regulate your activities and your institution?
Juan,
Keep on learning! We should be always on a quest to develop and refine our knowledge.

Dwight,
We must provide accurate information to the student. If we do not, then we risk being misleading which is against the law.

I will review all Florida Statues and Rules and Regulations on a monthly basis to ensure accurate information is given to the student.
My school is not accredited yet, but we are under the Commission for Independent Education and I have been reading the web page for the 2013-2014 Commission for Independent Education Annual Report (their most recent one) online at: http:/
We also have a lot of information in the Resource Manual, and I am looking through that, as well. As a new employee, this information takes a bit of time to go through .... Every day I read some more ...
Nida,
It is beneficial to us all. We all must follow the rules and regulations established by the state of Florida for the protection of both the students and the school that we are affiliated with.
Patty Aronoff
Alicia,
It is very important to be aware of what is going on in our sector. As we become more involved and more knowledgeable we are aware of questions that prospective students may ask. After all we must assume that they are watching the news as well.
Patty Aronoff
I am a person who stick to the rules and regulations. I am really glad I am taking this class. I printed them so I can go back to it for later reference. Reading these various Florida Statues and Rules and Regulations are really informative, this will definitely be beneficial to me.
I agree that the rules and regulations change oftern. We have to sign an attestation at the beginning of every month and that is when I typically go online and see if there are any new anouncements or changes. I also am very tuned in to the news happening around my school, especially with other schools. I like to ask a lot of questions and learn from other's mistakes.
Gabriel,
Go to the CIE website and look for the links for further information they will provide you the direct access to the other websites.

I am going back and using the rules when a problem arise to confirm my understanding of the knowledge. I am becoming more comfortable with the rules as time goes on.
I Created an special folder in order to classify and highlight by order of importance the statutes, rules and regulations.
It is an effective strategy that i have implemented in order to organize and have an inmediate access to the information contribuiting to the learning process.
