The Learning Resources Center ( Library) attend regulary meetings (weekly) with Integrated Students Services Department to stay orientated on the new procedures or changes in the students admitions.
In my campus we have a weekly meetings to discuss the information for the different departments. In addition I am part of the task force for student services. In this task force all the directors for the student services from the differences campuses participated through the tele conference or video conferees. This is a good opportunity to discuss the issues or share information about the admission, financial aid or other services or process.
In our institution in the admissions department we meet every morning before start working to share all
the issues or problems we face the day before in order to improve our knowledge and student service. It works very good.
In meetings the needs of students develop, offer services or process changes, so it is an excellent form of communication so that the service provided is satisfactory.
