The CIE information is important to know. It effects performance through the regulations. Rules are constantly updating and changing and to ensure you are always complaint you must stay up to date with the CIE regulations.
Good point Marie, making sure you are doing what you can do to become more familiar with your job and definately paying attention to details also makes the job more gratifying for me as a representative.
The CIE requirements provide the guidelines and outlay how we are suppose to present our information to the prospective students.
That process allows us to follow our honesty, and integrity principles that guide us to help the prospective students make an informed and honest decision. Making sure we are in compliance with all the guidelines and giving the potential students an honest and clear cut information within the guidelines; helps the student to make a better informed decision on their future.
The job becomes easier as I become familiar with the requirements. I have to pay attention since what I do affects the school and me personally.
CIE's requirements have made me more aware of the information I need to possess to be more effective at my job.
I think it does make it easier by taking the burden off you as a rep and putting on policy becasue that what policy does is take the human emotion out of making a decision. Not all decisions are going to be black and white but it sure does help!!!
It helps keep me up to date and to make sure I am being compliant with the information I provide students. Helps maintain consistancy to assure all students are getting the same information.
The core of the Florida Statutes are good moral character and is molded in every fiber of my military formed entity. For individuals with questionable character, it should be detrimental but necessary to protect consumers.

The sad parameters are set for every school in Florida. Students will have the same protection no matter which school they choose.
