All too often we become complacent in adhering to the guiding principles that are set in place to help us better serve our students. For instance, informing students about accreditation probation issues, even though they did not ask, is not only compliant but engenders an atmosphere of trust and cooperation.
Junior,
Is it ethical to hold back information just because someone didn't ask? Absolutely not! We need to build that trust through solid information.

It is important to place people with good moral values in key positions. We all know what right and wrong is but an immoral person will be easily tempted to step on the grey when their livelihood is on the line.
John,
Ethics is part of every day business. We should never employ any person in any position that cannot maintain the ethics of the organization.
