We were all thier at on time so help out. Go into the computer maybe this is thier first time or a repeat.
I am not sure what this is about but perhaps it has to do with students who come in late to class. I know what a distraction it is when a student comes in the middle of a class. Depending on what is going on, I try to acknowledge their arrival and get the student engaged as soon as possible. It is important not to be critical in regard to their tardiness since you don't know the reason for it. If possible, I try to discuss the reason for them coming in late, in private, to avoid any embarrassment on their part.
Dont make the student feel bad for coming in late but maybe ask them during a break if there is something that you can help them with.
