Retention
I agree! Students need the on-going support of their instructors. The instructors are usually the ones who can retain a close relationship with the students. I try to maintain a close relationship with all of my students to help them understand that I care about their success in school and their futures.
I agree with your statement. Also, the rest of the staff needs to work with the students and teachers to create a positive learning environment.
Very true. I have seen uncaring instructors ruin attitudes.
@ekain : It is always important to maintain a positive attitude toward the institution as well as to the students.
I agree with statements made. My students are important to me, because as I explained to them "My aim is to help you become the best MA you can, because one day you may the one to take care of me". So I can help them to become the best or face the care of someone that "just passed a course"
The other MA instructors have the same desire for the students and I think it shows through them upon graduation.
