In my classes, I continually use critical thinking skills with the students. They are preparing for careers in respiratory therapy and they will have to be able to recognize a problem, define the problem, analyze solutions to the problem and apply the solution. At times this process must take place in seconds or minutes to provide care to a critical patient.
