Holly, You did the right thing in NOT recommending those students for a position at the hospital. If the students didn't take their responsibilities serious enough to show up for clinicals, I certainly would not attach my name to them in a recommendation. That recommendation would be tied to your personal reputation and the next thing you know, your credibility is ruined for future recommendations. All I can do is shake my head at the thought of how little some people want to achieve. When will our society ever learn that hard work is the only key to success?! Rhonda Daniels
