The Teaching in Career Education Group is for instructors teaching in career education institutions to discuss topics related to instruction and student learning.
Even though I really like teaching online, I do miss the interaction of the classroom. However, I do feel that more people have access to learning through the online environment and I enjoy helping students be successful in a new career.
I can agree with you on that. I don't teach online but as a current student at University of Phoenix sometime I wish I can see my instructor. As a instructor I enjoy seeing my students every day they really make my day. Having interactions with them face to face is way better than online.
I agree I love online instruction, but I try to balance it with face-2-face teaching as well. The energy is great. I love it. I do try to incorporate techniques from both modalities in my classes.
