David Paris, Executive Director of the New Leadership Alliance for Student Learning and Accountability.  David will speak on the work of the Alliance, including an overview of their most recent report, "Committing to Quality: Guidelines for Assessment and Accountability in Higher Education."  He will share his work with the Alliance within the context of the current higher education policy community, which has recently put a greater emphasis on student learning and learning outcomes.
