ED101 Defining Instructional Professionalism

I found this course informative. Tips on being more prepared the fist day of instruction are always helpful in my opinion.

It was very helpful to see a formalised proceedure for teaching a class and compare it to the style I've developed.

It is also interesting to compare standard practices to the particular student population I teach.  For example, what modifications are necessary in a university with out admission requirements beyond a high school or GED diploma versus a university with additional admissions requirements.

Being prepared is a good way to lead by example for your students.

I found this course a very good refresher and loaded with ideas to build from. The classroom is always changing and somtimes we need fresh ideas to keep us moving forward.
