The "Flipped Out" Class- ED124

This training elevated my view of the importance of implementing other techniques in the classroom.

I found the information in this tutorial very insightful and innovative.  The information is positive and uplifting and encourages supporting the student's learning processes as well as providing ideas that I will bring to the classroom and improve my abilities as an instructor and facilitator of learning.  I can t wait to decorate a classroom, put on some soft, classical instrumental music and introduce a pleasant scent to the classroom enviroment as well.

Without realizing it, I have already begun to flip my classroom, recognizing that I can engage students more effectively if they engage in activities during class time, based on homework.  Time goes fast, and student enjoy it and learn!

The Flipped Classroom course was a decent intro, but lacked good, concrete examples, while repeating a number of key points. Why not discuss more of the founders' assertions and cite examples to show how this method decreases discipline issues and increases test scores?

I have been teaching blended courses for two semesters now. Through this course, I recognize the importance of face to face time. Decent tutorials, such as those by Linda.com could help achieve success in Flipped Classroom.

Now I sort of know what the Flipped Classroom of the Future might look like, but did not see any concrete examples of classes and activities.

I could probably flip one of my classes, but it would take just about as much time to prepare as the contact hours I am paid for, if not more, so I would need a monetary incentive to do so.
